The Artwood series was designed to blend the best traditional elements with modern guitar construction. Technology moves forward at a frenetic pace, and the world of guitar building is no different. In producing the Artwood series, we’ve respected the rich tradition of the acoustic guitar, while adding modern interpretations in our continuing search for the ultimate in guitar tone.
Part of the Ibanez Artwood Series, the AW84 acoustic guitar gives you the comfortable feel of a classic dreadnought body, the earthy vibes of an open-pore finish and the tasteful framing of white binding for an honest price. Not only that, your fret hand is given unrestricted note access courtesy of a 15.75-inch fretboard radius, while your strumming hand is treated to enhanced grip on the strings offered by a slightly longer 25.6-inch scale length. In terms of sound, the okoume body and matching solid top of the AW84 shapes a round, woody and bright foundation sound full of tight basses, guaranteeing warm notes and sparkling chords.
